Alexandra Stan (b. June 10, 1989, Constanța, Romania is a vocal soloist and composer from Romania. He released the single "Lollipop (Param Pam Pam)" towards the end of 2009. The song had an impact in Romania in early 2010, rising to the top of the radio and reaching number 18 in the Romanian Top 100.
The second single, “Mr. Saxobeat ”, enjoyed a huge international success, becoming a hit. It has sold nearly 1,000,000 copies in less than a year, reaching the top 5 in over 20 countries, including New Zealand, the United Kingdom and the top 30 in Australia, Canada and the United States. The soloist released her debut album in August 2011, called Saxobeats. It was a commercial success, ranking in the Top 40 of albums in countries such as Germany, Finland or Switzerland, in Japan reaching the Top 20. The next singles are "Get Back (ASAP)" and "1,000,000".
The song "Lemonade" is released on June 4, 2012, recording almost 47,000,000 views on Youtube in less than 10 months. The single reached number 1 in Bulgaria and enters the Top 50 in over 8 countries being the first single from the relaunch of the debut album, Saxobeats. The next single, "Cliche (Hush Hush)" does not enjoy the same success. The collaboration with Manilla Maniacs for All My People is the third single from the relaunch, but it is not a resounding success either.
After a few months spent in the United States, Alexandra Stan returns in April 2014 with the song Thanks For Leaving, which tells about her relationship with Marcel Prodan. The following songs, Cherry Pop, Dance and Give Me Your everything from the second studio album "Unlocked" were very successful in Japan.
In 2015, the artist is offered by Walt Disney Pictures to play the role of Inger, in the second part of the successful film Atlantis: The Return of Milo.
